The Dundee Sportsman’s Club is proud to be home to the Dundee Schools Trapshooting Team. We offer excellent facilities and provide a safe and friendly place to shoot. Our leagues are for shooters to get together and enjoy the company of others who want to have a good time in the sport. We are a friendly group and offer a nice place to create friendships! We welcome shooters of all abilities. Inexperienced? No problem. Shooters can improve by shooting with the more experienced league members. Our experienced shooters are more than happy to share their knowledge.

More About Trap Shooting: Trapshooting, is also called ‘clay-pigeon shooting’, or ‘down-the-line shooting’. The sport consists of participants using shotguns for shooting at saucer-shaped clay targets. These targets are flung into the air from a spring loaded device called a ‘trap’. A later variant of trap shooting called ‘skeet shooting’, is also included in the sport of trapshooting.
